The Monroe sectional has far exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and attractiveness. We had multiple guests over and it provided everyone with seating without being too crowded. It's a unique piece that makes a huge statement in our family room. I would definitely buy more from Apt 2B.
We love the color, style and comfort of our 18 month old Monroe sectional, and consulted with a salesperson on fabric choices that would be the most pet friendly as we have two small dogs. The fabric (Pumpkin) has been very durable, but it doesn’t seem to be cleanable from a scent perspective. Per the Customer Service person we talked to, we hand cleaned the cushion covers and had the whole couch professionally cleaned, but the fabric won’t release regular pet odors. We’re not sure what to do but if you’re looking at this sofa, consider a different fabric or material if you have pets in your home. For what it’s worth, we have performance velvet on two chairs we’ve had longer that seem much more resilient so maybe that would’ve been a better choice for us. The sectional is also dry clean only which limits our options for any further cleaning.

Thanks for your review and for your important feedback! Sorry to hear that the sofa isn't as fresh as you would want it to be- that definitely sounds very disappointing. It sounds like you tried quite a few things as well! Sorry for any inconvenience.
This is certainly not typical feedback that we hear but, since we deal so much in textiles/fabrics, we have heard many accounts of environmental elements causing odors. Since our fabrics are by and large all polyester based, they are usually very cleanable and resilient! There are some blemishes and stains, of course, that are harder to address, specifically when it comes to pets. Still, the Pumpkin fabric is very popular nationwide amongst various manufacturers and retailers and we haven't heard any major negative feedback of this kind before. So sorry again!
I don't think we have any specific remedies in mind outside of the spot cleaning and professional cleaning you have attempted but it bears mentioning that, while these fabrics are "dry clean only" they can be steam cleaned with caution by professional cleaners. the hardest part of this was deciding what shape and color combination to get. payment, updating colors, and delivery were a breeze. i'm flopped on it now and couldn't be happier.
The curve of this sofa makes it so unique, I can’t get enough of it. The blueberry velvet is so soft and vibrant, we’ve had a couple spill and it cleans up easily. Plenty of room for 2 people to lay out and watch a movie!
We love the look of the couch. We got the Chicago Blue fabric. It looks like it wouldn't be comfortable, but in reality it is pretty good. The low back lets you put your arm along the back which is nice. We really wanted a certain aesthetic and this couch fits the bill just right.
We have only two complaints so far, one bigger than the other. First, we really wish the arm was about 1-2" higher. This is minor though. The bigger complaint is the buttons. They're attached in a way that makes it so that when you sit down and move around a bit they can kinda catch on your butt and fold over and become really uncomfortable. They look nice, but in retrospect, we wish we would have asked for the cushions without the buttons because overall they're a literal pain in the butt.
Other than this we're very happy with the couch and it appears to be very well constructed. Delivery was great. If it was possible to swap the cushions though, we probably would because this couch will be with us a long time with this build quality.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties with the buttons- button tufted seat cushions certainly aren't for everyone but they are a big part of the style/design, of course. Two things to mention are:
We are able to produce seat cushions without button tufting upon request prior to placing an order. It's rare that customers will request this but it's something our factory is able to do on a case by case basis.
If it becomes a big enough issue, you may wish to order new seat cushions from us. It's a bit costly to do so so it's not something that is very common to do but it is an option that is there for you should you need it at some point.
