Not worth the $
I’ve had this couch for 9 months - we went with the Blue Jean fabric because my boyfriend and I have a medium sized dog and wanted something easy to clean. After doing a lot of research, this piece and fabric seemed to fit the bill. It looked beautiful in our room when it arrived.
My honest impression now that I’ve had a full 9 months to live with it:
Squeaks very loudly when you sit, sounds like it’s going to break.
Super narrow cushions - I can’t sit with a pillow behind me, and we can’t cuddle at all. If my dog tries to sit with me we don’t fit because the cushions just aren’t deep enough. We are two average height adults and athletic build, so I thought an average sofa would be fine. This is more like a little ‘apartment sofa.’
One of cushions in the sofa section seems to be sloping inwards drastically despite me turning and fluffing the cushions.
The connection between the chaise and sofa is very loose and constantly moves.
The fabric looks terrible. It’s pilled everywhere and I cannot get the dog hair off. I’ve tried vacuuming, I bought several lint removers and fabric shavers. Nothing makes it look better.
It looks (and even sounds) years old. It has not even been 1 year. I of course expected wear and tear, just not so soon and for the amount I paid.
I reached out to customer service to give this feedback and they assured me pilling is normal (I know it’s normal but…I was hoping it’d be easy to improve) and they offered a free lint shaver. I already have a few but…
