Emerald Green is the new color of necessity!

This sofa arrived the week before Christmas and I was a kid again opening the box. The color is perfect and I mean tears-in-your-eyes PERFECT. The cushion is so thick and the style so amazing. My friends are asking me how I found such a great piece of furniture…. And I tell them, APT2B. Get the Emerald Green and be the envy of all your friends and neighbors.

Love it

I love the firmness of the couch and the fabric I chose. Unfortunately I didn’t like the pecan legs (maybe better with a different color fabric) but it was an easy fix as I just painted the legs black. The pecan has a lot more of a red hue than I’d originally realized. Haven’t tried the mattress yet but excited to have guests who will!

Ready for guests!

We traded our guest bed for a sleeper sofa so that the space could be more flexible. The couch is a beautiful color (Hacienda) and the velvet is super soft and luxurious! We haven't had guests or tried out the bed, but I loved the option to upgrade to memory foam, as a sleeper feels like a downgrade from an actual bed. Only four stars because the couch is rather firm (we knew this from other reviews), the velvet shows quite a bit of marking from hand prints, etc. (I suppose this is typical of velvet, but it's more noticeable than I thought) and the delivery was a bit underwhelming - we chose white glove. The guys seemed surprised that it needed to go upstairs and in the process, they knocked something off the wall and broke it.

Regarding the firmness, all of our choice of fabric upholstery can be expected to be at it's absolute firmest when received and over time, can be expected to soften by up to 25%. This being said, we are confident that with a bit of love (use) over time, things will settle nicely for a comfier feel. for the velvet concerns, this is typical of the nature of this fabric type, and the prints can be easily brushed away with a light stroke of the hand. We are sorry if this is not ideal.
