Beautiful sofa, not very comfortable
This is my second purchase from Apt2B, but the first sofa. After looking online at sectional sofas for more than a year, I settled on the logan in blue jean.
First, the good. It was a snap to put together: just screw on the legs (one of the eight was a little wonky but workable) and attach the two pieces with a single slide-together bracket. Throw on the cushions, and done. The fabric is a lovely medium blue, not exactly the same as the swatch color but close, and it looks like it’ll last a long time providing I keep my two dogs from “fluffing” it before they lie down on it. Haven’t had a spill on it yet, so I can’t speak to stain resistance. As far as the frame goes, it seems pretty solid.
The less-than-good is this: it’s super uncomfortable. I’ve been sitting on it for an hour now, in the most comfortable spot, and my bum and lower back are super sore. I am slightly taller than average and quite a bit thinner than average, so it’s not as though I’m smashing a lot of weight onto one cushion. The other issue is that the sofa is incredibly narrow. My mini schnauzer has fallen off it three times since we got it yesterday! Both of my dogs prefer to lie somewhere else. The description says the bottom cushions are 23”, but my tape measure says they’re 21.5” at most. I can’t cross my legs on this thing without feeling like I’m going to pitch forward.
In all, I’m super bummed. This would work perfectly in a hospital waiting room, but in the main living room? Not so much.

It is great news to hear that the sectional was simple to assemble, but we are sorry to hear of the discomfort and concerns with color and depth. We'd like to know more, so if you have not already, please send images of the swatch on top of the sofa so that our team can review. While there can be slight dye lot variances which rarely occur, the hue should still be within a very minimal range of difference. We are always happy to help with any abnormalities or issues, just let us know! The same applies in terms of seat cushion dimensions. they are hand finished which causes for a very small degree of variance in terms of measurements, but dimensions should, of course, not be a few inches off in terms of what listed. Since your sectional is new, it may take a bit of love (use) over time for the cushioning to decrease in firmness by up to 15%, as this is standard for our upholstery. Your order will arrive at it firmest, but over time, customers have found that it does settle and become a bit more cozy. :)
All in all, as we are a solution oriented company, if any issues are brought o our attention, we will be more than happy to dive in and do the necessary to make things right. We greatly value all of our customers feedback, both positive and the not so great, so we will look into the situation regarding any previous reviews, as we do not purposefully remove specific feedback.
