Beautiful, sturdy sideboard
It took many weeks longer than advertised to receive this piece. I’m sure COVID-19 caused much of the delay. So far, I’ve been extremely happy with this piece. We opted to unpack and put the legs on ourselves. Everything was labeled very well, and easy to assemble using the enclosed Allen wrench. Only two issues: The drawers are very tight, so it is quite difficult to open them. This seems to be improving over time. We’ve rubbed paraffin on contact areas, which has seemed to have helped. And there is an unpleasant smell, probably from a treatment used on the wood. It will dissipate over time, too. I would also say to check other websites where they sell modern pieces where you might find this piece (using a different name) for several hundred dollars less.
