Cushions lose firmness way too fast
We’ve had our Apt2b sofa for about a year and a half. My household consists of two average size adults, and we use the sofa daily. When it first arrived, the cushions were so firm that I was concerned they would be uncomfortable to sit on. My fears subsided as the cushions became less stiff during the first few weeks of use. However, after about 6 months, I noticed the bottom cushions already starting to have that tired, limp, unsupportive feel of worn out seat cushions, and now they are so worn that you can feel the couch frame through the cushions when sitting down. For a $2000 sofa, I expected much much better. I would absolutely not buy this sofa again. The velvet material is very nice (we got the cloud blue color), and the frame is holding up fine, but overall this was a bad purchase. There were also delays in production which I was not notified about. I had to call customer service and inquire about my sofa before I was informed that production was running behind schedule.

Please note that our custom upholstery is brand new at the time of purchase and had not been sat on or used for any period prior to being shipped to your home. This means that the cushion fill was at its maximum firmness at the time of receipt. With regular use, the sofa begins to break in and the firmness will decrease by up to 15-20% overtime. Keep in mind that if one portion/area is used more frequently, this area will break in faster. To maintain cushions, we highly recommend rotating, flipping, and fluffing any cushions that can be moved to maintain the look and feel! We're happy to let you know that standard, non tufted cushion inserts are covered under warranty within the first year of ownership and may be replaced once if requested within 365 days of delivery. If you have owned your sofa for less than a year and are within the warranty timeline, we'd be happy to order you new cushion inserts per our policy.
