Lamp is great, but not what I expected

I've actually wanted this lamp for over four years so when I was finally able to order it I was super excited. However, what I received didn't really look like the photos. The base in the photo looks matte (which is what I wanted) but it's actually very shiny ceramic. The lampshade in the photo looks like a dark oatmeal color but is actually deep grey. Additionally, the lamp is MUCH larger than I thought.

I was able to make it work - mostly because it didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning a lamp by post - but I wish the photos had been a bit more representative of the actual product.

I've given the lamp four stars because the quality is great and it's not the lamps fault it doesn't look like its' photos.
