Retro-Mod Awesomeness!

Very well made, new, Mid-Century Modern-styled, upholstered furniture. First off, APT2B is probably one of the ONLY furniture brands to offer the wood parts in a natural "blonde" finish. For those of us who have a lot of vintage Heywood Wakefield (classic American Mid-Century Modern brand that uses birch; still in operation), it is great to have the wood accents match. APT2B's quality of make easily surpasses other "similar' brands like Kavuus, whose furniture were severely lacking across the board when compared side by side.

Our Carson chair was very nicely padded with no sagging or underfilled spots (like Kavuus). The upholstery fabric seems substantial, durable and beautifully woven. The frame seems very solidly built and made to last (our Kavuus chair frame broke within 3 weeks of light use).

Plus this was all made in the USA, and delivery for custom made furniture was surprisingly fast!

Color fade

I purchased the Carson chair in Regal a year and a half ago. My husband who is 230 pounds uses it almost every day. The fabric on the seat and arms has pilled and the color noticeably faded. Very disappointing. Love the style and color but….

Exactly what I wanted

I was nervous to spend so much on a piece of furniture I hadn’t seen (or sat on) in person, but this chair + ottoman is everything I was hoping for! I got fabric samples ahead of ordering, but the “straw” fabric was exactly as pictured online. The chair is solid, sturdy, and a bit firm – but not TOO firm. Really comfortable (this is coming from someone who prefers plush furniture). I expect there will be some additional give once I continue to break it in.

(Note: the clear plastic you see around the side of the ottoman and chair is just temporary sticky panels to deter the cats from scratching)
