Perfect sofa bed for a tight space and an updated building.

We are renovating a small 100 year old hay barn into a guest house. Needed a twin sleeper sofa to fit a tight space and couldn't find the right one to work with the room. I wanted something interesting, something that work with both a modern as well as a more transitional style and that had some character but wasn't overwhelming. The Harrison sofa bed fit the bill perfectly! Sent off for fabric samples, all of which were exceptional but just couldn't find the right one for the room, so I went looking for the right fabric. Ended up finding Revolution Fabrics and had APT2B make the sleeper in Revolution's Twine and Twig Autumn fabric. The sofa arrived yesterday, beautifully upholstered, and is absolutely perfect in the room. (Please excuse the mess in this room. We're still renovating, and the place is a mess.)

Overall pretty good

The delivery was fantastic, though I will say I did not know what company was delivering until after a random company emailed me. But customer service was quick to help with that so no worries there. The mattress on the pull out bed isn't very comfortable, so I'm a little disappointed with that. But the couch is a perfect fit in my house and I enjoy the appearance for the most part.

Chic and comfy

I love the tall sides of this sofa because we don't need a lot of throw pillows. We have a puppy and can't have any extra chewable things lying around. It's a great couch for cozying up with a book, but it also sits three people comfortably at a party. All in all, a great purchase. I do wish Apt2b provided notes on keeping it clean, so far it seems to vacuum well, but not sure how it will hold up to stains.

Super-serviceable Piece

Had this sofabed for about a month now, but the countless hours of research feel like yesterday. Finding decent full-size sofabeds ain't easy. Overall we're happy with the purchase, would probably give it 4.5 stars, and here's why:

* The couch is firm, but in a good way. Feels sturdy.

* The full-size bed sleeps two fit people comfortably.

And that's basically what you want out of this, right? Way more compact than a murphy and more comfortable than an airbed or futon. Now for the caveats:

* The innerspring mattress is fine. Just fine. Not sure if the memory foam is better, I suspect with only 5 inches it's not gonna matter much.

* There is no room under the couch. The bed basically rests on the ground when it's folded up. Don't plan on storing anything under there.

* There's nothing next-generation about the bed mechanism. Normal, but thin mattress. Instead of a boxspring, it's like a very firm trampoline. That's how sofabeds work. It makes your feet kinda stick up when you lie down. There are tubes that run underneath, but so far neither we nor our guests are able to feel them. Time will tell.

Advice:

* Definitely get that white glove even for a smaller sofabed. The guys took the whole foot assembly off to get it through the interior door. I have a power driver too, but I was real glad it wasn't me.

* The samples are worth it, definitely get them. We went with Ash. Not as hard-wearing, but it feels great against the skin.

* The folded up innerspring mattress leaves…
