Cute but not made to last

Was so excited when I bought my sectional a year ago and now I’m disappointed. In less than a year the cushions started to feel really soft/ distressed from use and don’t spring back. The springs make squeaking noises when you sit in some areas and the fabric isn’t pet friendly. We are a house of 2, each weight under 150 lbs and have one 13lb cat. There are scratch marks all over the fabric just from her jumping on & off (she doesn’t purposefully scratch or dig). Just a big warning to anyone on the heavier side or with animals that this isn’t going to last you long. Very disappointed. Cute if you put this in a room where you don’t plan to spend much time?

Our fabrics are pet-friendly and durable when tested in areas of pet damage or mishaps such as stains. Please see this link where we discuss the pet-friendly mishaps we are referring to: https://www.apt2b.com/pages/fabric-101-sofa-care. Please note our fabrics are not 100% resilient against clawing or perhaps ungroomed nails. In general, and to maintain your sofa for years and years to come, we do recommend that you vacuum your sofa, especially with a textile brush. However, extreme brushing may be too harsh on the fabric and may cause pilling. Lint removers may help with fabric maintenance as well! Regarding the cushions, it sounds like you may be experiencing comfort wrinkles. Comfort wrinkles are normal with the cushion break-in process and can be mitigated by fluffing and rotating any cushions that can be moved. Sitting in different spots should also help to ensure one cushion doesn't break in faster than the other. To address the spring concern, we'd be more than happy to troubleshoot with you. So Perfect

We got the hacienda velvet material with pecan legs, it is literally my dream couch. We got material samples and chose after testing it on all our pet hair and spilling wine on it, the wine came out completely with literally just soap and water and this velvet hides pet hair so well even hair from our white cat doesn't show too bad on it. The company gets 5 stars because of the well built couch but also they are a good company for customer service. Our couch arrived at the delivery facility and was estimated to be delivered the next day but 4 weeks went by with the couch sitting at the delivery facility and the delivery company would not give us a delivery date. Apt2b was so good about taking ownership of the problem even though they had no control over the delivery company by turning our delivery into a white glove (complete set up) service for free. I am so happy with my purchase and highly recommend 👍

Beautiful but doesn’t last

We received our couch almost two years ago and loved it when it first came in- absolutely beautiful and comfortable! Good production lead times, especially during Covid, and delivery was seamless. It is still very comfortable, but the vintage woven fabric DOES NOT hold up. I contacted customer service after owning the couch less than a year because of how badly it was pilling, but unfortunately the fabric isn’t covered as part of their standard warranty. Now after two years, the seat cushions sag and the fabric almost has a faux-fur feel because of how badly it has pilled. It’s still sturdy and I still love the design, but buyer beware of fabric. Maybe a different fabric would do better? Will probably have to reupholster it soon.

While fabric pilling can be a natural occurrence, it is always pretty unfortunate when it happens, especially in a way that can affect the overall look and feel of an otherwise nice piece of furniture. If you haven't already tried, our general tip is to make use of a fabric shaver which can be extremely helpful in situations like these!

With regards to the cushions sagging, sorry to hear about this as well. Exactly what I ordered!

I received a few fabric swatches prior to placing my order to get a real idea of colors and textures. Delivery was smooth and the sofa arrived without damage. The cushions were a little stiff initially, but have broken in really nicely. I only wish there were machine washable fabric options!
