This is an attractive and sturdy lamp. It is functional as well, providing good light for reading at just the right height and brightening a dark corner. It has a heavy base to keep it stable and a very handy floor switch for easy on and offs. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of the globe, but am pleased with its shape and pure white (not yellow tinted) color.
