RetroMod Excellence!
Very well made, new, Mid-Century Modern-styled, upholstered furniture. First off, APT2B is probably one of the ONLY furniture brands to offer the wood parts in a natural "blonde" finish. For those of us who have a lot of vintage Heywood Wakefield (classic American Mid-Century Modern brand that uses birch; still in operation), it is great to have the wood accents match. APT2B's quality of make easily surpasses other "similar' brands like Kavuus, whose furniture were severely lacking across the board when compared side by side.
Our Carson sofa was very nicely padded with no sagging or underfilled spots (like Kavuus). The upholstery fabric seems substantial, durable and beautifully woven. The frame seems very solidly built and made to last (our Kavuus chair frame broke within 3 weeks of light use).
Plus this was all made in the USA, and delivery for custom made furniture was surprisingly fast!

Great little loveseat.
I loved the customer service Apt 2B gives the customer. The delivery of my new sofa went smoothly and they sent numerous emails, texts and even called on the day of the delivery to let me know what time they were coming. I really like my Carson Loveseat. It is a beautiful denim color and the seats are not too soft. I actually prefer a harder seat. The back cushions are pretty but they are also fairly hard. I think I would have preferred a softer back but all in all I am very satisfied with my chair.

Looks nice, that’s all.
I was extremely disappointed in this loveseat. Despite having deep seats and an elegant design, the back cushion is nearly rock solid and the seat cushions quickly start sagging towards the center of the couch. I had the couch for several months over the winter and was the only person using it (180lb dude).
The cushions sagging towards the center was the dealbreaker for me. No matter where you sit, you start falling in towards the middle gap between the cushions. I blame the lack of support there, as they didn’t add any cross beam in the center of the couch. Instead, there seemed to be springs stretched length wise.. very poor design.
This was an expensive return. I was disappointed and surprised after reading so many great things about apt2b. Oh well.

Both are tested for durability, style, and comfort - they are meant to last for years to come! We are surprised to hear of your concern regarding the design as this isn't something that comes up. The Carson is known to be quite structurally sound, however, we apologize if that was a concern of yours. We always welcome feedback so we do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. In terms of the cushions, kindly note, all cushions need time to break in. It is expected that the cushions will decrease in firmness by around 15-20%. Cushions will be their firmest at delivery and will require time to soften according to one's preferences. Still, we understand the inconvenience this poses so we do apologize. We thank you for sharing your thoughts and sorry this one didn't work out!

Great sofa!
We love our Carson sofa in peacock performance velvet. It is very firm, which is great for our bad backs, but if you prefer a softer cushion this one is probably not for you. It looks beautiful in our living room and we are considering ordering a matching ottoman!
