great sofa - but a couple surprises
we really do love this sofa - it seems to be of great quality so we are looking forward to having it for a long time. i knocked off a star for a few reasons: we ordered the leather swatches to test out b/c we have issues with our cat's claws messing up furniture and we really dug into the swatch, we used the tip of a knife and it really seemed to hold up great. that was a big selling point for us. but soon after getting the sofa we noticed little scratches on the seats just from our cats jumping onto it. i realize now that the grain of the leather we got as a sample is only for the sides and back of the sofa - the seat portion is much softer. Also, when the sofa was delivered we had to sign paperwork saying we were satisfied with how it looked - well, the thing was so wrapped up i couldn't say whether it was in good condition. and after unwrapping everything we did receive legs that were scratched. not a major issue but still kind of a bummer. with all that aside - it came quickly, delivery setup was easy and it's very comfortable and the power footrests work well . love that it's such a discreet reclining sofa too!
