We are sorry to hear that the firmness of the cushions is a bit too firm for your personal taste, and customers do generally find the Logan to be very comfortable. To help provide a bit more insight the 2.0 density foam is a standard "mid" firmness if you will, and this is used by our factory as it has received the best overall response. How firm, or how soft a cushion is does not necessarily correlate with price as a softer or firmer cushion customization would carry the same upgrade fee with our factory to note. We hope this helps!
We understand each of our customers needs will vary, so we do encourage you to reach out for customization options should the standard cushion offering not work out for yourself, or family. As a rule of thumb, you can expect the firmness to decrease by up to 15% as the sofa is used over time. This change will gradually occur, and we do hope you begin to see the decrease soon!
