Comfortable but constantly shifting, already feels worn. Disappointed
I bought this sofa to fit a longer room so we could have a back along the short edge (vs a chaise). The fabric is nice, mondo velvet, and the cushions are comfortable but that's where it ends.
The pieces are constantly moving out of alignment, even placed on a rug, and the seat back cushions squash down each time I use the couch so that it look rumpled and untidy until I plump up every cushion again. The middle of every seat is softer / sunken so that if you plop down on the seam of two pieces you feel the raised, harder edge. The cushion on the long, middle piece, doesn't stay put which makes a constant gap between it and the neighboring corner cushion. On top of all that, our mellow, old dog has somehow already permanently scratched the fabric.
We've had the couch for 3 months in a household of two adults and a dog. I don't think this would ever survive a family, and certainly won't survive my house as long as it should.
Pretty disappointed in this purchase. Part of the problem is the modularity. Other, normal couches from this company may be a better purchase.
