This Weekend in LA: First Fridays, Free Yoga and Rice Balls

First Fridays - Natural History Museum, Exposition Park
KCRW's First Fridays are back at the Natural History Museum.  For the next five months, spend the first Friday nights walking amongst the dinosaurs and enjoying KCRW curated DJ's and bands.  This week features music from Lord Huron and Wildcat! Wildcat! and DJ-sets from Justin Gage and Aquarium Drunkard.  Tickets are $12 at the door.


Free Yoga - Exhale, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows 101 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica

Exhale in Santa Monica is kicking off their new yoga program by offering free yoga classes, DJ's snacks, truck show and so much more.  Space is limited, so make sure you RSVP for your spot in class.


Oshogatsu Family Festival - Japanese American National Museum, 100 North Central Ave, Los Angeles11 am - 5 pm

The JANM is ringing in the Year of the Snake with free admission to the museum along with rice tastings, rice education and yes, a onigiri contest (that's a rice ball for the uninitiated.)  You can also draw your Omikuji,  aka the sacred lottery, so you can find out know kind of year to expect.
